Commonly targeted fish include Luderick, Snapper, Bream, Flathead, GTs, Kingfish and many many more. Just down the road you will find fantastic Whiting fishing for the kids on Nelsons Beach, book onto a professional fishing trip or hire a boat for a day on the bay. There are also loads of opportunity for safe land based fishing from the beaches and rocks.

Whale and dolphin watching

Whales often take refuge in Jervis Bay for a rest during their migration. The entrance to the bay is also an excellent location to view whales from the high sea cliffs. If the whales aren't in season, take the opportunity to tour the bay and have a close up experience with the resident dolphins who live in the bay 12 months in the year. Booderee National Park has fantastic walks ranging from trails leading through old growth forests that lead to secluded beaches and bays, to heathland and wetland trails and boardwalks. For something different try the Mangrove Boardwalk at Huskisson.
