Just down the road you will find fantastic Whiting fishing for the kids on Nelsons Beach, book onto a professional fishing trip or hire a boat for a day on the bay. There are also loads of opportunity for safe land based fishing from the beaches and rocks.

	Whale and dolphin watching Whales often take refuge in Jervis Bay for a rest during their migration. The entrance to the bay is also an excellent location to view whales from the high sea cliffs. If the whales aren't in season, take the opportunity to tour the bay and have a close up experience with the resident dolphins who live in the bay 12 months in the year. 	Scuba diving Australia's second most popular diving location after the Great Barrier reef, come and enjoy the abundant sea life and spectacular underwater landscapes in one of Australia's premier Marine Parks. There are a number of accredited dive operators to fill your tanks or to book onto one of their many scheduled boat or shore dives. You can even enjoy an overnight on board stay of a purpose built dive boat resort.

	Boating The protected waters of Jervis Bay are ideal for all types of boating especially sailing and fishing. There are a number of good boat ramps with excellent facilities at various locations around the bay. including hire boats.

	Bush walking Enjoy a huge variety of local walks and National Park trails including the White Sands Walk starting at the end of the street. Booderee National Park has fantastic walks ranging from trails leading through old growth forests that lead to secluded beaches and bays, to heathland and wetland trails and boardwalks. For something different try the Mangrove Boardwalk at Huskisson.
